Why are contents of the "notes" field shown in the search box??

It's got to be a bug because the regular items list shows username... not notes like this. Hope they fix soon.

Is there a special forum area or way to report bugs, or is this the correct way to do it?

Hi @luckman212 and @Johncord - You're correct that this is not the intended behaviour, the contents of the Notes field should only be included in the search preview if there is a match for your search term in the Notes field.

I'm sorry for any interruption to your workflow that this has caused, the development team are currently working on a fix for this issue, as well as working on fixing the spacing that you mentioned.

I can't offer a timeframe for when the fix will become available, but keeping 1Password up to date will be the best way to ensure that you receive all fixes and improvements as soon as they're released.

Sometimes with reports of unexpected behaviour, we may need to ask you to send an email to support@1Password.com so we can do some more detailed troubleshooting privately, which will allow us to gather diagnostics and discuss account specific information.

Thank you for your patience. Our developers have released a fix for an issue where the notes field was always shown when searching, even if it was unrelated to the search. If you haven't already, please update to version 8.10.36:
