Why are the suggested usernames for a new website all wrong?

Question

When I go to a site that I haven't signed into before I get suggestions for usernames that contain my wife's info (she and I share 1Password) but not my possible usernames. Any previous discussions on this subject are worthless because they're either old or a solution if it was ever posted is gone and the discussion is closed. Lately, I feel 1Password has drifted away from its main goal the users and is concentrated on some corporate business model which I could care less about.

Hello @br1896! 👋I'm sorry that you're seeing the wrong suggestions on certain websites. Where specifically are you seeing the suggestions? Inside of the 1Password app when you're creating a new login item for a website? Or as suggestions above your keyboard or below the username/password field right on the website's page?
