Why does 1pw not fill in app sign ins?

I'm going through the process of changing phones, and so I have to sign in to all my apps again to set them up. 

Since they used the same password as the websites (banking, Facebook etc) Why won't 1pw fill them in automatically? 

In my case, I have to go back to 1pw and search for the name of the website, and then copy that information to put it into the app sign-in form. 

Is that the way it's supposed to be?

I just want to make sure I'm not missing something or don't have 1pw set up wrong.
