Why does unlocking the App generate a "New 1Password sign-in from Safari" mail?

The 1Password App locked, so when I tried to open Quick Access, I had to use Touch ID to unlock the App.

Why do I immediately get an email with the title "New 1Password sign-in from Safari"?

1Password Version: 8.2.2-4.NIGHTLY
Extension Version: 2.0.6
OS Version: macOS 11.5.2

Hi @XIII,

Was Safari running when this happened? Was this perhaps the first time the 1Password for Safari extension had become unlocked on your Mac?
