Why doesn't it prompt to save sign in type when you Sign in With Google?
1Password added field type "Sign In with" and despite having tens of sites where sign in with Google is used 1Password completely ignores that.
It never prompts to save when you sign in with Google.
Why is it important? Because of confusion and time spent trying different accounts to sign in with. While there's a password manager that can't help with that.
If your answer is "just create the password entry yourself" -- well, it requires:
- opening 1Password,
- creating password Item,
- then type the site name because 1Password for some reason can't insert the site I am on and sarcastically displays
example.complaceholder. Okay I will type it in or paste. - Then scroll down and find "Sign in with" , click on that, and in dropdown find the required account. If you have apple accounts then you will have to scroll a lot to find Google accounts because it's sorted alphabetically. Why it's sorted alphabetically? because of the above- it's not important enough to 1Password and wasn't user-tested in real world.
There's nothing technically preventing 1Password from getting site URL and account used.
