Question

Why doesn't the item list display API Key items' "usernames" values?

It looks like logins display the username field in the list display (which is helpful when you have multiple items with the same name but different user names); however, this does not seem to be the case for API Key items.

Hello @Aaron_Gibralter! 👋

Thanks for reaching out. Different types of items will provide the values of different fields to be displayed as a subtitle in the item list.

For API Credential items, the subtitle is sourced from the type field in the item. For example, if I set the type to "Bearer Token", I'll see "bearer" as the subtitle:

Let me know if you have any questions.

Ahhh ok, thank you!

Then... could I make a feature request to make that configurable either on the item type or on the individual item? :)

@Aaron_Gibralter

I've filed a feature request to add such an option on your behalf. Thank you for the feedback! 🙂
