Why is the item history not visible on the apps?

I'm using 1Password 8.10.38 (Beta) on my Mac and 8.10.36 on my iPhone.

I am unable to see items history. If I open the website I do see the previous states of a certain item.

Why is that so? It would be very useful to see it at least on mac, on iPhone I can see some reasoning behind this choice.
