Why is this extension so bad at changing passwords (and other things)?
I am scared to change my password without doing a bunch of extra leg work. Typically I feel like I had to save off the old password somewhere temporarily and then use the suggested password. A lot of the time it re-prompts with a new suggestion and I end up getting that password saved inside of 1Password instead of the original suggested one that is saved in the site. Or it creates a new entry for the site and now I have two entries. Or it saves it in 1Password and that causes the page I am changing the password on to act goofy and / or reload, losing the password. On some sites I have had to redo my password several times because of this extension doing this stuff. This part of 1Password seriously sucks. I shouldn't be scared to change my password and shouldn't have to do a bunch of extra legwork to assuage that fear. This has been going on for a couple of years but seems to be getting worse the past few months.
Also, this morning I had to close the browser and reopen twice just to get the dropdown to work so I could login.
I'll also add here the support options for contacting 1Password are pretty bad as well. I don't want to talk to AI. AI is almost never helpful, especially when it is in the form of a chatbot. I want to contact a real person, not get regurgitated content that isn't helpful. I'm using the latest version of Chrome and 1Password. Please put more effort into this extension.
