Question

Why there extra alert pops up when filling forms in Firefox?

When I'm trying to fill out some form field I always get an brwser alert and I have to click "OK". This is so annoying. I used a lot of password managers and all of them fill fields without alert window.
Why is this happening? Is there something that I can do to remove that alert?

Hey @castus!

There is a topic started in 2020 already. Hopefully this behavior will be changed soon.

@johnfixesstuff

It looks like you replied to an old thread that hasn't been active in three years. Last year we moved to a new forum provider and threads older than a certain date weren't migrated which is likely why the link in DenalB's post isn't working.

Are you seeing an unexpected confirmation prompt when filling in Firefox like the original post did? Can you share what website you're seeing this on and a screenshot of the prompt?
