Will the Yubikey MFA methods be made available in the app and browser extensions?

Will YubiKey MFA types be allowed in the local app and browser extensions to log in, instead of requiring the master password every time?

With the prevalence of keyloggers out there, it would seem a good step to allow MFA style logins you have on the web account login be made available to the local app and browser extensions.

Not a YubiKey specific thing, as FIDO/etc. is available via other vendors, but it's what I have at the moment :)
