Windows Beta 8.10.32 (81032011) - App no longer starts when OS starts

Thank you for reaching out! Just to confirm: are you no longer seeing the 1Password icon in the system tray after you restart your PC? Do you see a 1Password process open in the Task Manager?

If you open the Task Manager, and click on the Startup apps tab, do you see 1Password listed as enabled there? You mentioned checking "Windows startup programs", is this where you looked?

Yes. Exactly. Since I started using 1Password, every time I logged in, it started automatically and it was already in the system tray (locked by default, but already loaded).

No process in Task Manager (related with 1Password, of course). Browser add-ins are there as usual. I need to open it from the Start Menu to bring it up and unlock it (or ask to unlock it from the browser add-in).

In Task Manager, in the Startup apps section, it is not listed there. I have some apps there that I manually disable (like Spotify), but it's not there in a disabled state that I can enable it again. I see no option in 1Password settings to make it start at logon.

To be honest, I don't remember if there was an option there (Settings) in the past and it disappeared, but I do remember that since I installed it, I didn't have to open it before unlocking it. It was always there in the system tray.

Ah! One more thing. A new beta was installed today (8.10.32 (81032025)) and it remains the same.

Thank you for those details. I can't reproduce the same issue when using 1Password for Windows 8.10.32 (beta) on my device. If you uninstall and reinstall the 1Password app then do you still see the same issue:

1. Make sure that you have a copy of your Emergency Kit.
2. Uninstall 1Password
3. Reinstall 1Password

If the issue still occurs then is your PC managed by your employer or another organization? Do you have any security apps installed? I look forward to hearing from you.

Forgot to mention that the issue occurred both on my personal laptop and work laptop (managed by the company I work for).

Solved this by manually adding a shortcut in the Startup folder. I'm not sure if that was the way it was setup when installed, or it was launched in a different way, nevertheless, this is as good as any other startup option, I guess. Probably it wasn't even an issue with 1Password but caused by a recent Windows update.
