Windows Hello Dismiss is not working as expected

Thanks for your feedback about 1Password in the browsers interactions with the client app!

The Windows Hello prompt you are seeing is due to the click of the 1Password in the browser icon. When the app is locked and app integration is enabled, this click is instructing the extension to unlock the app and is expected behaviour. Cancelling the Windows Security prompt tells 1Password to fall back to the app and to enter your account password.

There are a few options you can use to help improve your experience:
1. If you find you are regularly clicking the 1Password icon accidentally, you can unpin the icon from your taskbar and manually open the app itself when you need it. 1Password in the browser will then continue to function as before when interacting username, password, and form fields:
2. Adjust the auto-lock settings of 1Password so the app stays open longer, but locks itself under certain conditions, such locking when the device locks or is idle for a given amount of time:

3. Disable app integration so 1Password in the browser does not call to the client app:
* Open your browser, right-click the 1Password icon in the address bar, and choose Settings.
* Under the General heading, disable Integrate with 1Password app.

I would not recommend the third option as you would only be able to unlock 1Password in the browser with your account password. The Windows Hello option is tied directly to the app itself.
