Windows Hello not working

Question

Hi, I used to be able to use Windows Hello/fingerprint to log in to 1P but a couple of months ago it stopped working.  When I go to the "Set up Windows Hello" article it says to: 1. Open and unlock the 1Password app. 2. Click your account or collection at the top of the sidebar and choose Settings. 3. Click Security, then turn on Unlock using Windows Hello.

Trying to follow these steps both "Unlock using Windows Hello" and "Show Windows Hello Prompt Automatically" are checked but it is no longer asking for fingerprint, it goes directly to password entry. Very annoying to have to enter my very long password every time I log in.

Would appreciate any help on what's wrong here.

So that I can better understand the situation: Can you post a screenshot of the unlock prompt that you see? Does Windows Hello not working when you're unlocking 1Password in the browser? Or the desktop app? Or both? What version of 1Password for Windows are you currently running: Find the version numbers for 1Password and your operating system-Dave
