Windows Hello not working on my Windows PC
Windows Hello has never worked great with 1Password, but now I see there's an added mention in settings that "You'll still need to enter your account password after you restart." This means restart 1Password or the computer.
To me, this just seems like Windows Hello is basically done, there is no real reason to enable it at all ― "after you restart" covers 90% of the times I have to unlock 1Password. I don't leave my computer on when I'm not using it.
To be fair, 1Password has been asking for my password 90% of the time anyway and just ignored the Hello setting, but so far, it was treated as a bug. Now it seems, it's just accepted that this is how it will be and that is disappointing to me. I hope there is a possibility for this to change in the future, so Windows Hello could be on equal ground with Apple's biometric IDs.
