Windows login issues

Question

I am being asked to enter my master password nearly every day, even though it says "you have to enter your password ever 30 days) and then when I do, it also prompts me for Windows Hello verification. This happens from the extension - if I do the desktop app first, the extension works fine.

This is incredibly annoying, as typically comes up just when I need it to work the most. I think having to unlock the extension everyday is fine, however Windows Hello should work correctly and it shouldn't ask for multiple forms of auth.

Hello @ll12867! 👋I'm sorry that you're being asked for your account password almost every day. The next time that you're asked for your account password by 1Password in the browser, can you take a screenshot of the prompt that you see? Can you also check the following: Open and unlock the 1Password for Windows desktop app.Click your account or collection at the top of the sidebar and click Settings.Click Security. What is "Require account password" currently set to?  when I do, it also prompts me for Windows Hello verificationIt sounds like you're running into a known issue that our development team is aware of where you'll see a Windows Hello dialog when unlocking 1Password using your account password.
