Windows - Stop Firefox Extension Locking When Closing Browser

If you are using 1Password 8 for Windows and the latest https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1password-x-password-manager/, then you should be able to "connect" both. So you don't have to unlock the extension every time you close and start Firefox.

You should enable Integrate with 1Password app in the browser extension.

Also, the setting Connect with 1Password in the browser should be enabled in 1Password 8 for Windows.

Could you please check if both settings are enabled?

Indeed, both of those options were checked already on the Desktop app and in the Browser addon.

The desktop app is unlocked. When I open Firefox, the addon is locked. I unlock it (with master password) and then close the browser, reopen and the browser addon is locked again.

Normally, when your desktop app is unlocked, you should be able to open the browser (assuming that those options @denalb mentioned are active), and the 1Password for Windows app should trigger your extension in Firefox to unlock.
