Hello @Fanta, thank you for writing in. I'm sorry about the trouble you're having with 1Password.

May I ask if your device is in tablet mode? Does turning off Hardware Acceleration improve the behaviour? Here's how:

  1. Open and unlock the 1Password desktop app.
  2. Click the three dots ( ⋮ ) at the top left of the app and select Settings.
  3. In the Advanced section, toggle off Use Hardware Acceleration.
  4. Press Ctrl + Q on your keyboard to fully quit the app.

After that, open the 1Password desktop app and check if the behaviour improves.

You're welcome @Fanta. I'm sorry that didn't work.

From the description, it sounds like 1Password is in full-screen mode. First, I recommend opening the 1Password main window and pressing the F11 key on your keyboard to see if this allows you to close and resize the window.

If the F11 key doesn't help, try following the steps below to reset the window state. Here's how:

  1. Click the Start menu.
  2. Copy and paste %APPDATA%\1Password into the Windows search bar, then open the folder.
  3. Look for a file titled primaryWindowState.
  4. Fully close the desktop app; right-click 1Password from your Windows system tray on the bottom right and select Quit.
  5. Move the primaryWindowState file to your Desktop.

After that, open and unlock the 1Password desktop application and check if the close button appears.
