YubiKey 5C NFC

When I try to use yubikey with 1Password, it does not work. I have successfully added my yubikeys to my account with no issue (YubiKey 5C NFC, and YubiKey 5 NFC). I then try to unlock 1Password on my iPhone, it asks for the key, I try to use the NFC feature, that doesn't work at all.. I then insert the 5C key into the usb-c charging port on my iPhone, and it says there are no credentials stored on that key. Um.. What? I then removed and re-added my 5C key and tried again. Same thing. So whats the issue, and how do I resolve it?
