New in 1Password: Decode JSON Web Tokens in the Desktop App

We’re excited to announce that you can now securely decode JSON Web Tokens (JWTs) right in the 1Password desktop app — no more copy-pasting sensitive tokens into plaintext or juggling extra tools.

How it works:

1. Save your JWT in any item field (many prefer the API Credentials item type).
2. Open the dropdown menu for that field.
3. Select “Decode” to view the contents.
