Best practices for uncertain times: A new framework for identity security
Identity security is getting harder to manage as users, devices, SaaS apps, and AI agents multiply beyond IT and security’s direct control.
Join Francis Odum, cybersecurity analyst and founder of Software Analyst Cyber Research, Blaine Carter, Global CIO at FranklinCovey, and Abe Ankumah, Chief Product Officer at 1Password on January 22 at 10:30 AM PT / 1:30 PM ET for a practical discussion on how leading organizations are unifying access across every identity and environment, and how IT and security teams can prioritize the identity security moves that matter most in the year ahead.

We’re excited to share that Trelica by 1Password, our SaaS Management Platform, is now 1Password SaaS Manager. It’s the same product customers love, but the new name reflects the features it delivers. These include:
- Discovering sanctioned and unsanctioned SaaS apps being used across the business
- Automating onboarding, offboarding, access requests, and access reviews.
- Optimizing license usage to control SaaS spend

NEW: 1Password Unified Access now available in Public Preview
Shared and sensitive credentials often live outside SSO and are completely invisible to IT.
Unified Access brings together 1Password Enterprise Password Manager and SaaS Manager (formerly Trelica) to help IT teams discover and secure these shared and sensitive credentials.
With Unified Access, admins can identify high-risk accounts stored in employee and shared vaults and bring them under management, allowing for rotation and access control. At the same time, employees get one place to launch both SSO and non-SSO apps, making it a win-win for everyone.

Secure just-in-time secrets for Cursor
We’re excited to announce a new integration with Cursor that brings 1Password into AI-powered software development workflows. Using Cursor Hooks and 1Password Environments, teams can ensure required secrets are made available only when needed, never stored in code or on disk, and remain governed by the same access controls and policies your team already trusts. This helps teams adopt AI-augmented development without increasing credential risk.
Help others discover 1Password. Share your experience with 1Password Enterprise Password Manager on G2 – anonymously if you’d like – and guide organizations in choosing the right security solution.
