1Password CLI version available via winget is out of date

Question

I found this topic from a year ago stating winget wasn't supported for 1Password CLI installation

But on a whim, decided to try anyways and found a version of 1Password CLI available, albeit an older version.  Are there still struggles with publishing updates for winget or has it just been forgotten?  Is it even still on the roadmap?

Hey @Authority , thank you for raising this with us.

Winget is still on our roadmap, the package you are referencing is community maintained (see https://github.com/microsoft/winget-pkgs) and therefore we can't offer any guarantee about it being up to date. We'll let you know, once an official publishing on winget comes out!
