Why is the SCIM Bridge needed? If I already have to create an Enterprise Application in Azure, then the SCIM bridge really becomes an unnecessary and overcomplicated step. I should not have to register a new domain or spin up a separate VM just to get an integration to pull accounts automatically. As an MSP and reselling this to potentially 50 different organizations, this step becomes very time-consuming and wasteful.

I'd like to request some assistance figuring out what's wrong with my setup.I have 3 refurbished PC's I revived as a K3S Kubernetes cluster.I have added FLUX, so I can re-apply the same set of configurations each time if I so desire.Relevant is the following: I am making a Discord Bot, and as I would like to keep the relevant Discord Token a secret, I'd like to use 1password secret injection for that.I followed the 7 steps as outlined here (https://github.com/1Password/kubernetes-secrets-injector) for using a service account. I like to load various passwords into environment variables in my .zshrc file like so: export TWILIO_ACCOUNT_SID=$(op --cache --account teamtwilio read "op://private/Twilio Account/username") However, each read operation seems to take about a second, and so, if I've got 6 reads in the script, then it takes 6 seconds before my shell will load. Are there plans to improve the speed of the 1Password CLI? In the meantime, have folks found any workarounds or hacks to improve the situation? Managing service accounts in the 1Password website currently supports functionality like: - Create service account - Save service account token to 1Password vault - Rotate service account token - Remove service account The latter three functionalities are not available by use of the op cli (op service-account). Are there any plans to add this? See https://developer.1password.com/docs/cli/reference/management-commands/service-account/ for reference. I've been evaluating whether I can use 1Password Connect for configuration/secrets management for my company's services. 1Password Connect looks very appealing for several reasons:No rate limits. No usage limits. As a 1Password customer, we have unlimited access to this offering.Uniform UI. We already use 1Password for managing passwords and various secrets used during local development. It would be very nice to use the same interface to manage lifecycle of configurations and secrets that are used by production services.Pretty straightforward REST API and SDKs in languages that we use allows getting the latest config/secret values at runtime. I am not very interested in using 1Password Connect Operator (or using k8s Secrets in general) since this provides secrets to the service at deploy time. I appreciate the ability to automatically redeploy the service when the underlying 1Password item changes but this works well only for stateless services. I prefer getting configurations/secrets

Hi,I'm running op run -- cmdin a systemd service as a non-root user to run a command but for whatever weird reason it needs permission to write to a directory explicitly specified or in the user's home directory. This is annoying because every time I spin up a service, I have to manually create a dir somewhere, then make sure perms of that dir is maintained as op likes it and is manually specified. Forces me to maintain a library of empty directories all owned by different users.

I have been getting recurring errors lately with the `op-ssh-sign` tool, these errors seem to align with updates to 1password? Its getting really frustrating that the fix is currently "uninstall & reinstall BOTH the CLI & the 1Password app", the only "silver lining" right now is that it is a homebrew cask so I can just run `brew uninstall` & `brew install` of both packages. But this seems like a bug at this point.

Hi everyone,I have 1Password 8.10.76 installed on a windows 11 pro OS. I have several ssh keys stored in it including 1 to use in git repositories. I'm using WSL (Ubuntu) to develop code. I did all the instructions to setup SSH agent and its integration with https://developer.1password.com/docs/ssh/integrations/wsl.  I have git working properly. The issue comes with 3rd party solutions that I install in WSL (Ubuntu). I have a 3rd party cli that has to use ssh and internally it uses SSH_AUTH_SOCK env variable get the ssh keys. The problem is that I have that env variable empty in the wsl (Ubuntu).Probably I'm missing some step but cannot figure out what. Can someone help me?Thank you

Hello, I installed CLI 2.13.0 and tried to connect to my desktop app on my Windows 10 PC. I needed to set up Windows Hello PIN and enable Unlock using Windows Hello in 1Password desktop app's Security settings. Then I was able to enable Connect with 1Password CLI in Developer settings. I have tried it and it did not work. I use 1Password CLI to add an export to my `.zshrc` file that references an access token in my vault:`export GH_TOKEN=$(op read "op://Private/my-private-vault/access tokens/gh cli access token")`Every time I open a new terminal window (or an app that has a terminal like VSCode or Android Studio) I'm prompted for my touch id; I open multiple terminal windows a day so I end up being constantly prompted.Is there a way to change the frequency of the verification? Ideally I'd be prompted daily but I'm not sure if this is the intention of the CLI.

As a web developer, when building an 'change email' flow, how can I ensure that the change email flow will trigger 1Password and other password managers to update the email associated with the users login item.

I'm building some tooling that calls the `op` cli - which then talks to the Desktop app. If I call several commands in succession, I am only prompted to unlock once, and subsequent calls are authorized.  However if I call the commands in parallel, I will be re-prompted to unlock multiple times.I realize it may be tricky, but even when requests are made in parallel, your app should be able to detect it and wait for the first unlock to finish before checking whether to show the unlock again.Please fix!

Hey, I noticed a bug in the 1password CLI if you use it from within a GitHub Action. The issue occurs when editing an existing item in a 1password vault. Command to call from within a GitHub Action: op item edit existingItemName --vault vaultUuid existingValue=newValue If you do this you will get an error message about an invalid JSON and the value in the item is not updated. The same command runs fine on Windows and Linux in a regular shell. Versions affected: The issue started in 1password CLI version 2.23.0. 2.22.0 works fine. The issue is still present in the current version 2.30.0 and also the latest-beta I tried. Possibly its due to the GitHub action bash terminal not really being interactive? Not sure. I tried with several different ways of passing the name of the existingValue and newValue into the command but none worked. All ended up with the same error. In 2.23.0 some stuff shows up in the changelog of the CLI regarding "item edit", I think this caused the problem. I

I sign git commits with 1Password in WSL2 as document, but every time 1Password pushes out an update (in Windows), this happens:$ git commit -am'useful title' error: 1Password: Access is denied. (os error 5) fatal: failed to write commit objectAnd every single time I have to do this dance where I try to open 1Password from Windows's system tray, it disappears on me (main window may flash briefly), then I wait a couple minutes for the upgrade to happen and manually restart 1Password so I can log in and rerun my `git commit` command back in WSL.This is a terrible upgrade experience. How did the pipe get closed if you haven't actually installed the upgrade? If you did install the upgrade, why did 1Password on Windows show briefly then close itself? And if the upgrade was being applied at that time, why did I have to restart it manually to get it to re-establish the pipe with WSL?If 1Password is interested in an improvement, I'm happy to help here. We are encountering an issue when attempting to perform user management actions via the 1Password CLI. Even after enabling provisioning and creating a "Provisioning Manager" group with the "Provision People" permission (as per the documentation), and adding our dedicated provisioning account to this group, the following error persists:[ERROR] 2025/04/29 06:10:15 You are not in the Provision Managers group.Could you please assist in identifying what might be missing? This started happening about 2 weeks ago and has been happening consistently since. It's trivial to reproduce on multiple Windows PCs running Win11 24H2. Steps to reproduce: Turn on "Unlock using Windows Hello" and "Use the TPM with Windows Hello" Turn off "Show Windows Hello prompt automatically" Set require password to "every 30 days" Quit 1P. Relaunch 1P & unlock with password. The vault unlocks, then pops up with the Windows Hello prompt. Complete the Windows Hello prompt. Quit 1P. Relaunch 1P and unlock with password. *Result: * The vault unlocks but then it pops up the Windows Hello prompt again. Expectation: The vault unlocks and does not pop up the Windows Hello prompt. The only workaround I've found for fixing this is to disable the "Unlock using Windows Hello" feature entirely.
