Hello,

when enabling biometric unlock on linux and running op commands it gives me the following error message

op vault ls
[ERROR] 2022/07/15 11:37:21 authorization prompt dismissed, please try again

I'm running
Arch Linux
1Password Desktop: 8.8.0-197.BETA
1Password CLI: 2.5.1

Polkit is installed.

extra/polkit 121-1 [installed]
Application development toolkit for controlling system-wide privileges

which op
/usr/local/bin/op

ls -la /usr/local/bin/op
-rwxr-sr-x 1 root onepassword-cli 12M Jun 30 16:36 /usr/local/bin/op*

I have a feeling that this could be because of my window manager.
I am using BSPWM.

The issue wasn't my window manager.
It seems I needed to run a polkit agent.
I have installed lxsessions and am now running lxpolkit.

So biometric unlock option seem to work.
However the SSH agent doesn't seem to work in tmux, but that's for a different thread:

Ney @N33T,
I am glad this got sorted out, on the CLI side! I'll make sure to ping my colleagues working on the SSH feature, inquiring for an update related to tmux support.

Best,
Horia

Hi @"Horia.Culea_1P",

would it be an idea to update the documentation: https://developer.1password.com/docs/cli/get-started/#requirements
and add the need for a polkit agent for linux and not just polkit?

Will bring it up with our docs folks!
Thank you for the suggestion!

Best,
Horia

Hey @N33T,

Just checked with my colleagues working on SSH, they have confirmed that tmux support should already be in production.
I see that you've already opened a thread in the SSH forum, so I'll let my colleagues handle this issue there.
Let us know if we can help you with anything else, on the CLI side!

Best,
Horia
