Possible to use ssh agent without system authentication on Linux?

I want to use the new ssh agent in 1Password. On Linux enabling the system authentication is required to enable this. I prefer not to use that.

Will it be possible in the future to use 1Password's ssh agent without having to enable system authentication?

1Password Version: 8.6.0

Hi @lode

It sounds like this should be an option at some point. See my similar question https://1password.community/discussion/comment/630283#Comment_630283.

It's currently a requirement, but we're working on changing that!
