Remote ssh-agent authentication

Greetings,

I often ssh into my Mac Mini from elsewhere. After I setup 1Password to be my ssh-agent, I realized that I would have to connect with the Screen Sharing client to my Mac in order to interact with the approval dialog for ssh keys. On Linux there are various ssh-askpass clients that can be selected depending on if you are at an X11/Wayland session, or just connected via terminal. Is there any equivalent for 1Password?

Does the machine you're connecting from also have 1Password installed? If so, you can use agent forwarding.

Generally it's Blink from my iPad. Sometimes it's from an old MacBook Air with 1Password installed.

However, the 1P SSH Agent is currently broken entirely for me. The confirmation prompt just pops up, then disappears, and I get

sign_and_send_pubkey: signing failed for ED25519 "<key filename>" from agent: agent refused operation.

I'm opening a support ticket about this.
