SCIM bridge connection to 1Password application via authenticated proxy is failing.

SCIM Bridge is deployed on AWS EKS and we are on corporate network that needs proxy authentication.

SCIM bridge is up and running and we are able to access the portal from browser, but when we are trying to verify it using bearer token it is failing with error failed to create session.

Error in the SCIM bridge logs are:
ERR failed to authenticate error="Authentication: (failed to auth.LookupAuth), Network: (failed to request.DoUnencrypted), Get \"https://{1Password Application API}": Proxy Authentication Required"

How can I give the proxy authentication details as part of our SCIM bridge deployment?

Hi @ashwinkotharamath

You would need to create a ConfigMap containing proxy details in proxy-config.json. Then update your SCIM bridge Deployment to mount the ConfigMap as a volume. These steps are environment/deployment specific and required to be performed carefully. Therefore its recommended to reach out support (via email at businesssupport@1password.com) with your Scim-logs attached. We would like to understand your use-case closely and address your requirement.

Thank you.

Hi @hemal_g_1p

Thanks for your help.

Can you please help with the format which should be used in proxy-config.json?
We need to add proxy url, username and password.

Meanwhile, will connect with 1password support as well.

Thanks
