SSH Agent not working after windows reinstall

Hi,

I just reinstalled Windows (2H22). But my SSH agent isn't working anymore. I followed the steps as usual, tried logging in into my server. No 1password ssh key popup thingy.

Anyone with the same problem, or knows a solution what it could be? Yes openssh is enabled/started.

A thing that noticed me when trying to get it to work ssh-add -l returns The agent has no identities.

Is the SSH Key item in your Private/Personal vault?

@floris_1P Yes it is

I'm having the same issue after updating to Windows 11 22H2

"sign_and_send_pubkey: signing failed for ED25519 "<mykey>" from agent: agent refused operation"

But for me, ssh-add -l shows all the expected identities.

I reinitiated windows hello with my face and finger and it started working again.

@frstlvl Good idea didn't tried to redo my windows hello setup. But sadly issue still persists.

I think the problem is that ssh-add -l isnt returning any identities

Reinstalling openssh fixed it for me via powershell instead of via settings
