Updated Mac OS to 26.6.1, now op won't stay logged in

I’ve been using 1password integrated into my terminal for years, it’s great! It was fine on 26.6.0. Now I’ve updated to 26.6.1, and now op keeps telling me that I’m not logged in:

> [ERROR] 2026/08/08 19:03:55 error initializing client: You are not currently signed in. Please run `op signin --help` for instructions

If I use `eval $(op signin)`, I can enter my password, and things work for a while, but eventually I’m logged out again. Before upgrading, I hadn’t had to use `op signin` in years.

Is there some setting I’m missing? Has 26.6.1 locked something down?

This is working now. I think perhaps after rebooting when iTerm2 asked if it could access data from other directories I mistakenly selected No? It asked again, I answered Yes, and now op is working as it always had.
