Secure Input Bug is so annoying
If you search this forum for "secure Input" you will find lots of mac users going back YEARS who have this problem: If 1Password is running, your mouse-keyboard shortcuts (i.e. cut/copy/paste) or macros no longer work. 1Passwords solution to this is to close the app. Fat lotta good that advice is when I've attempting to copy and paste my passwords. GIVE US A WAY TO DISABLE THIS. Just how many users are you willing to inflict an aneurysm upon because you're flippin' lazy? Sweet Jesus, your advice is "quit the app" - that's not a fix! FIX YOUR APP FINALLY PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND ALL THAT IS HOLY. Having your app running should not break my computer. Fix it yesterday.

This happens when running 1password at all. If the app is active mouse button assigned keystokes don't work. I'm using Logitech Options+ app. Logitech has a helpful article to help users diagnose this issue: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360023189334-Logitech-Options-and-Options-issues-when-Secure-Input-is-enabled
This sequence reveals 1Password as the offending app. I should be able to have 1password running in the background or even as a foreground app without this incredibly frustrating bug screwing with my workflow. here should at the very least be an option to disable it.
Closing 1password entirely releases the secure input and returns my macros to normal.
Searching these forums for "secure input" will reveal many, many users facing the same issue with the only solution being "quit 1password." Seems very strange to advise people not to use your application after they've been googling the fix and no doubt tearing their hair out. Please fix this.- 1P_SimonH

Hi Thermalexposure,
I'm sorry you're experiencing this – that sounds like a really annoying bug. Could you share a few details to help us investigate?- Is this happening on a specific screen? For example, 1Password will enable Secure Input on certain fields like the account password field on the lock screen, but Secure Input shouldn't be enabled if the app is just running in the background.
- Which shortcuts / macros are you trying to use?
- Do things immediately start working after you completely close 1Password?

How is it you guys still haven't fixed this? Search these forum for "secure input" and you will see lots of threads of people (mac users) running into this problem. It's so disruptive. WE NEED A WAY TO DISABLE 1PASSWORD'S SECURE INPUT!!!!!! If 1password is open I lose my mouse copy/paste shortcuts. FIX YOUR APP and stop telling people to close the app as a solution. THAT IS NOT THE SOLUTION. That's you being lazy.
