"Type in window" feature
Hello,
I still miss the abillity to let type a password into an opened window, i.e. when connecting via Teamviewer to a Windows Server login screen. With 1Password7 it was no problem and worked like a charm. With 1Password8 I always must type in the long generated passwords by hand. Drag and drop isn't working with Teamviewer, AnyDesk, .... .
This is just pain when you are remote supporter and need to login to more than 20 different devices every day. This is only time consuming and frustrating.

Hello ChrisHenz! 👋
Thanks for reaching out! Are you using 1Password on Windows or on a different platform? Have you already tried the Auto-Type feature? You can read more here:
Let me know if that doesn't work for your needs or if you're using 1Password on another device.-Dave

Hi,
I'm using both Windows and MAC. The Auto-Type feature (STRG+Shift+Space) isn't really helpful as I have to revise most of my entries from Server (Auto-Fill is unavailable) to Login to get this work. Additionally I can't choose the needed vault to search the login, I must create a collection first...
I just tested this on another machine and realized that there is a type in window function now which works. Only thing is that I have to do three clicks now instead of two before. Also the new way how favorites work is forcing me to add a collection for every single vault I have to be able to find my most used logins (favorites for the selected vault) for every customer (in my case I have one vault per customer). I can't understand the advantage of showing all favorites of all vaults in one view.
And the standard view is another point. Can I setup the app to always show the list sorted by title and not by last used?

Thanks for the feedback! I've shared your comments internally and the team will consider improvements for future versions of 1Password.

Do you mean the view in the desktop app itself? If you choose to sort an item list by Title then 1Password should remember that and keep that selection until you change it. Are you seeing different behaviour?
