1Password + Extension cohesion between ios devices & mac?
So i've spent a fair amount of time using 1password on ios and never knew of the extension bit of it. I had assumed that was a desktop only thing.
Needless to say, I simultaneously found out about it, enabled it w/ permissions, and noticed the "sync across devices" setting for safari extensions.
Course I then noticed if I went into settings > safari > extensions I had 1Password listed under "allow these extensions", then another section called "On other devices" which had "1Password: Password Manager" listed therein.
I checked my wifes iphone and ipad. That section was missing. So i figured there was some kind of version discrepancy and/or issue with syncing causing "on other devices" to display. I began disabling the "share across devices" setting for extensions device by device. Whenever I turned it off for the macbook & mac studio voila, that section disappeared from my iphone and ipad. I would toggle it back on for either and the section and listing would automatically re appear on my ipad/iphone.
So after more digging i came across what points to this being the result of some convoluted discrepancy between version 7, version 8, and whats allowed on the app store, as well as mobile vs desktop/laptop. I think?
So i'm essentially reaching out to get a confirmation that the way the extension is presenting itself (showing up twice) in settings > safari > extensions when share across devices is enabled (between ios and macos devices) is expected/intended or otherwise?
