1Password issue when logging in

For some time now an annoying message has been displayed by 1Password on several of the sites we try to sign in to"? Here's an example of the screen message (1Password won't allow screenshots because of the security settings). The display says:

Fill Anyway?

1Password can't verify the app or website should have access to your Murphy USA --> ACCT LOGIN login.

(The "Murphy USA --> ACCT LOGIN" is our name for the login) Yours will be whatever you named it when you created the login.

The screen then provides the choice of cancel or allow once.

Why does this keep appearing and is there a way to make it stop?

Thank you for confirming that you're using DuckDuckGo. The team is currently testing a fix for an issue where users see an incorrect notification to confirm filling a password after using autofill on Android devices. Would you be able to temporarily try the beta version to see if the fix resolves the issue for you: Use 1Password beta releases

I look forward to hearing from you.

  • Hello trimiMidake! 👋

I'm sorry for the delayed reply. It sounds like you're running into a known issue that affects certain browsers on Android. Can you tell me which browser you're using?

Can you also tell me if you see the issue in one of the following browsers: Chrome, Edge, and Brave

If you check your entry in 1password, does it state the correct URL in the 'website' field? Otherwise amend it by adding another website field.
