1Password Linux 8.11.16 Issues
Since upgrading to 8.11.16 I've started to experience some issues. I believe these stem from the fact that the app is now running native Wayland.
Under Gnome 49/Ubuntu 25.10 the tooltip windows like the quick access or when I'm asked to confirm access to a SSH key are placed on the screen at the top left corner instead of being centered. I've disabled various extensions that I thought could be related, but I still see the behavior.

One of the things lost going from X11 to Wayland is the idea of geometry and identifying windows can be tricky(since AFAIK there is no Wayland equivalent of xwininfo). This is an expected consequence of the design, and folks are working on a way for us to put our windows where we want [citation needed], but until then we just have to put up with windows opening in the top left of the current workspace, under the focused window, in the middle of another display, or wherever.
I use the Smart Auto Move GNOME Extension most of the time on most of my GNOME desktops and it mostly works well for most windows. It's what I'd describe as fragile in handling changes.
If you find a way to position those windows, then please share the details.

I didn't find a solution, but instead switched back to KDE Plasma which is my preference anyways. I was trying Gnome because with the switch to Wayland my kwin hacks to force the quick access to have a shadow/window border no longer work with Wayland.
Under KDE the problem is the windows are hard to see because they don't have a window border/drop shadow, but at least they are placed correctly on the screen (centered).
