Any other MFA options...?
I need to enable MFA for users to log in to 1password to comply with UK Cyber Essentials Plus.
But the only MFA options 1passwords are offering are a hardware security key or an authentication App.
This means we need our users to rely on a smartphone as we don't use hardware security keys.
That is not ideal. I prefer our users not to have to rely on private devices to authenticate into company owned services.
At the very most I would accept a TXT message to their phone, but I feel i can't enforce users to have to have an Authenticator app installed.
Ideal would be a verification code via e-mail or if our users can use Touch-ID as a MFA solution.
Any suggestions?

Thanks for reaching out! By default, all 1Password memberships offer the following MFA options:
- An authenticator app: Turn on two-factor authentication for your 1Password account
- A hardware security key: Use your security key as a second factor for your 1Password account
There aren't any options to add a SMS text message or email verification codes. If you're using 1Password Business you can add DUO as a second factor which does provide users with the ability to verify using a phone call or text:
With 1Password Business you can also setup SSO unlock so that your users unlock 1Password using your identity provider (Entra ID, Okta, etc...), this also allows you to set additional MFA factor on the identity provider side depending on what your specific identity provider supports:
