Hello folks,
We’re sorry about the issues that you’ve reported when using 1Password in Safari. We’re happy to share that the latest update to macOS and iOS includes improvements to Safari that resolve a bug where 1Password's suggestion menu would stop working and autofill will stop filling in certain situations.
- If you’re using a Mac, update to macOS version 15.6: Update macOS on Mac
- If you’re using an iPhone or iPad, update to iOS version 18.6: Update iOS on iPhone and iPad
We also recommend taking the time to make sure that you’re using the latest version of 1Password for Safari.Thank you for your patience as we worked with our partners at Apple to resolve the issue. If you're still seeing the issue then please send an email to support@1Password.com so that the team can help further.

5 months agoI'm sorry that AutoFill stops responding in Safari on your Mac. This is an issue that the team and I have been able to reproduce and a bug report has been filed with our development team to get this fixed.
For the time being, opening the website in a new tab should get things working again. If that doesn't work then restart Safari by completely closing it and then reopening it.

Is there any way to monitor the progress of this issue? It’s quite frustrating and significantly disrupts the workflow.

I'm sorry for disruption to your workflow. This is an issue that appeared in Safari 18.4 and our development team is working with our friends at Apple to resolve the issue but I don't have any updates to share at the moment.
I've made a note to update to this thread as soon as there's news. For the moment, open the website in a new tab to get things working again. Or restart Safari if that doesn't work.

This.
Been now quite some time and having the bugged extension is starting to become more than a nuisance.

Completely agree. After all this time there is no definitive answer as to whether or not this problem will be fixed in the upcoming 15.5 Sequoia update. How can agilebits not know this bit of information? Very disappointed in how the users are being treated. If 15.5 doesn't fix this issue, then I'll absolutely find another password manager.
