Can not scan QR codes when Stage Manager activated

I've noticed that on my Apple M1 Pro using OS X Ventura 13.0.1 & 1Password 8 that when Stage Manager is activated, the ability to scan QR codes when adding a one time password is not possible. If I temporarily deactivate stage manager and then try again, the QR code can be successfully scanned from the website displayed (in safari)
