EERO Plus includes 1Password

Just switched to EERO mesh with EERO Plus. Email from EERO that this includes a Family Subscription for 1Password (which I already have). Anyone know how to switch billing information so I don’t end up paying for going subscription that EERO will cover?

  • Hi Mikefmiller,

Congrats on the new wifi setup! The process for updating your billing will vary a bit depending on how your billing is currently configured.

If you're paying through Apple or Google, you need to cancel the subscription first and wait for the subscription to expire before following the steps provided by Eero.

If you have direct billing, you can skip straight to following the steps from Eero.

One detail to mention, too is that you need to be the family organizer to do this!

Let me know if you have any questions!

Just as a follow up to this.  I transferred my existing 1Password family account billing over to eero plus which worked fine following the instructions.  However, I'm now in the situation where I am going to cancel my eero plus membership when it expires.  I'm assuming this will freeze my 1Password account.  Am I right in thinking that when this happens, I'll still be able to log into 1Password and just add a new billing method to unfreeze the account and get it working again for the family?

      Hi eepyaich,

You have that exactly right! Your account will be frozen and you can simply add a payment method to unfreeze it. Your data will be safe and sound the whole time. Please let us know if you have any questions!
