How to disable auto popup to enter/update passwords
Although it’s a great option to be able to automatically fill in passwords to smoothen the login, it often also is a pain when 1Password thinks it detects login fields on a page and constantly shows the update/enter popup.
Isn’t there a way to disable the popup for certain pages and/or addresses? It happens when I’m working in a certain page the popup appears after almost any entry/action I perform on these pages. And that way it annoys, and therefore makes you ‘hate’ the option (which it shouldn’t).

In general I do want to automatically login to websites, but once logged in I don’t want/need to have 1Password show me at random popups to update or fill in fields.
In one particular example (acronis.com) I frequently get presented the update popup while there are no (visible) fields to fill???I will try to rule out some pages and see what’s hapening.
To be continued…

Hi Gerard thanks for reaching out!
If you don't want 1Password offering suggestions automatically there are a couple of options available to you.
The first option is to hide 1Password on a webpage completely:
- Right-click anywhere on the webpage.
- Hover your cursor over 1Password - Password Manager in the context menu that appears.
- Choose Hide on this page.
If you don't want to hide 1Password completely on a webpage, you can configure it so that the autofill menu only shows when clicking the 1Password icon in a website field:
- Right click the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and choose Settings.
- Click Autofill & save in the lefthand menu.
- Toggle off Show autofill suggestions when a form field is in focus.
Let me know if those suggestions work for you or if you have any questions
