Search differences between v7 & v8 (v8 is worse)

It appears the search feature in v8 is different/inferior to that found in the Mac version of v7. If I search all of my items for "VPN" in 1PW v7, I get two correct results. One entry has OpenVPN in the title, and the other item has "VPN" in the item name. However, in 1PW 8, if I do the exact same search on "VPN" it returns only ONE entry, the one with the letters "VPN" with spaces around it. It does NOT list the "OpenVPN" item.

IMHO, the v7 search behavior is how it SHOULD act. It should be a full text/item search. Hopefully v8 can get fixed.

    The broken search is a major issue for me. In it's current form I cannot rely on search results and thus I cannot use the early acces version as a replacement for 1PW 7. I've posted one of my problems here: https://1password.community/discussion/comment/611892

    Hi TravelSD!

    Our developers are working on search as we speak, so I am sure they have plans on addressing these. I will pass them your feedback in the meantime :)
