How to prevent 1P's icon from appearing in the Dock at startup
While I agree with Former Member , we are not in total control of everything around us. We have several certificates (for sign/encrypt, and some SSL), and also other credentials that need manual refresh/handling based on auto expire. So we would really love a feature like this.
Hello @kpmtl! 👋
Thank you for the question! You can certainly save passkeys to your existing Login items. First, make sure that 1Password in the browser is installed:
Then follow the steps in our guide to save a passkey: Save and sign in with passkeys in your browser
When you save a passkey in 1Password for a website whose credentials you've already saved in 1Password, a prompt will appear asking you if you wish to save the passkey as a new Login item or update the existing Login item.
That being said, I see that you're already discussing the situation with my colleagues over email, please continue the discussion there and they can help further. To prevent duplication of effort, I'm closing this thread.
