tags by vault

    Hi JHirschi, 👋🏻

    We do have an open feature request to bring this to 1Password 8 and while I can't make any promises, I've added your voice to that.

    In the meantime, you can limited which tags appear in the sidebar by creating a custom collection: Use collections to create custom groups of vaults

    I recognize this isn't ideal if you need to look at tags within multiple individual vaults, but I encourage exploring how your data is organized to see if there's any benefit in viewing certain vaults together. For example, if you have multiple shared vaults with different family members, a "Family" collection would make it easy to view them all together while excluding your own private items.

Hello Dave,

thanks for the reply. We tried working with Collections but are not totaly happy with that. When using 1Password in the Web the behavior is more like what we wanted to achieve.

What is the best way to report feature requests and bugs to you (for example we think we have found a bug regarding collection management)?

We have a 1Password Business Subscription for about 100 Users with currently about 200 Vaults and we would like to share our experience.

    Can you tell me a little more about doesn't work for you in regards to using collections to limit the tags that you see? I'm happy to file a feature request on your behalf to pass your feedback along to the team. 

    What is the best way to report feature requests and bugs to you (for example we think we have found a bug regarding collection management)?

    There are two options: 

    1. You can create a new dedicated thread for the issue here in the community: New Discussion
    2. You can open a ticket by sending an email to support@1Password.com
