Watchtower question
Watchtower tells me I have one "reused password", and it happens to be my 1Password password. But it only shows one item, so I don't understand why it thinks there is a duplicate somewhere. Can anyone explain this behavior? Windows 11, latest 1Password release, running the 1Password extension in Firefox.

Hello milliondl! 👋
Thank you for reaching out. Can you tell me where you see the Reused password warning? Is it in a banner in 1Password in Firefox? Or in the Watchtower section in the desktop app? If it's the latter then do you see the warning in the "Ignored alerts" section of Watchtower or in the general section?
If you open the desktop app (not the browser extension) and search for the password in question, do you see another item appear?

It's in the desktop app when I click on Watchtower. It's in the General section; it shows a box for Reused Passwords, with a "1" at the top. If I click on that box, I get a Reused passwords screen, which shows 1 item.
Don't quite know how to do the search. If I select All Items and enter the so-called reused password, nothing happens.
Also, if I select the login item from the list and open it up, there's a "Reused password" warning at the top. I guess I could just click Ignore to make it go away.

Thank you for the reply. Can you check the following:
- Copy the password of the item in question.
- Click on All Items and paste the password into the search field at the top of the page and press enter:
Do any items but the item that is being flagged by Watchtower appear here? If they do then check to see if you've selected to ignore the Watchtower warning for those items in the past:
- Click Watchtower in the sidebar of the 1Password desktop app.
- Click Show Ignored Alerts.
- Check if an item that appeared in your search above is listed here or if any of the ignored items have the same password as the item that was flagged.
Let me know how that goes.-Dave
