Why Is 1Password Asking for Verification Code After Unlinking Account in mac?

I am encountering an issue with 1Password after unlinking my account. Despite completing the unlinking process, the app is still prompting me to allow a verification code on the device I am signed into.

I would appreciate guidance on resolving this issue or steps to bypass the verification requirement.

    I'm sorry that you're seeing an unexpected prompt when using 1Password on your Mac. When you say that you "unlinked" your account, do you mean that you unlinked your Mac from your 1Password account on the following page: https://start.1password.com/profile

    If you meant something else then please let me know. Can you tell me why you unlinked your account?

    Can you also post a screenshot of the verification code prompt that you're seeing? Make sure that there's nothing sensitive visible on the screen.

    Thank you for reaching out.

    Yes, I unlinked my Mac from my 1Password account on the page you mentioned: The reason for unlinking the account was that I had reformatted my Mac and was unable to log back in afterward.

    Unfortunately, even after unlinking the account, I’m still encountering the verification code prompt. I’ve attached a screenshot of the prompt below for your reference. Please let me know how to proceed.

    Thank you for posting the screenshot. Since you've unlinked your account from the app, it's normal that you're being prompted to relink the account. Are you seeing a notification to transfer the encryption key to your Mac on any of your other devices where you're using 1Password? Open the 1Password app on your other devices and check for a notification there.

    Or is your goal to fully remove the account since you're not going to use it in the future? I look forward to hearing from you.
