Why is 2FA suggestion enabled when I have created a passkey already

I have a username/password for https://intuit.com and have generated a PassKey. But in my account record, I'm still seeing the suggestion for 2FA. Wouldn't the passkey be considered enough to stop that suggestion from appearing?

  • Hi srp,

    Great question!

From a little investigating, it looks like Intuit allows logging in with either a passkey or a password. It looks like you have both set up, since you have a passkey and a password indicated in your screenshot. Because you have the password, 1Password will still prompt you to add 2FA. An item with only a passkey would not have that prompt. Hope that helps!
