Many problems with new forum

  1. Didn't bring over profile settings, had to receate them
  2. MacOS section has only 6 posts; where are all the earlier posts?
  3. Where are the legacy fora for 1Pwd7 and earlier for MacOS, iOS, Windows, etc.? I understand that AgileBits refuses to answer questions, but there is a LOT of useful information for those of us who can't use 1Pwd8 plus community members can help where staff won't.

Hey romad! Thanks for jumping in early and taking the time to share your feedback with us!

Didn't bring over profile settings, had to receate them

We recently completed the migration from Vanilla to Khoros, and while most content made the move, some things—like profile settings—didn’t transfer 1:1 between platforms. Definitely understand that’s an inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience while getting everything set back up.

MacOS section has only 6 posts; where are all the earlier posts?

I was just talking about this with the team, and we’re actively looking into it! There are plenty of posts that made the migration; they’re just not displaying in the right place at the moment. We’ll get this sorted out soon!

Where are the legacy fora for 1Pwd7 and earlier for MacOS, iOS, Windows, etc.? I understand that AgileBits refuses to answer questions, but there is a LOT of useful information for those of us who can't use 1Pwd8 plus community members can help where staff won't.

Discussions from the past three years were migrated over to the new Community, so a lot of older conversations are still available. That said, content older than three years wasn’t brought over as part of the transition. We know there’s a ton of valuable knowledge in those past discussions, and while our focus is on current versions, community members are absolutely welcome to continue helping each other with older versions where they can!

If there’s something specific you’re trying to track down, let us know—we’re happy to help however we can!

That is just my point: I don't see them anywhere! There should be a link to those Legacy posts like there was in the old fora so they don't get mixed up with current posts. It seems to me this change in software is primarily "Change for Change's Sake" not with any true intent of improvement.

I get that change can be frustrating, but I want to be clear—this wasn’t just “change for change’s sake.” The move to Khoros was done to improve performance, security, and long-term sustainability for the Community. While migrations like this always come with some bumps, we’re actively working to smooth things out and ensure content is displaying properly.

Regarding older posts— discussions from the past three years were brought over, but we don’t have a separate archive for legacy content at this time. That said, if there’s something specific you’re looking for, I’m happy to help track it down.

I appreciate your patience as we fine-tune things, and we do value your feedback—just know that our goal is always to improve the Community, not change things arbitrarily.

I have asked in the Lounge for one thing. Mostly I don't ask UNTIL I have a question and then do so or try to find a vaguely remembered answer to a similar problem in an older version. That is why there should be an area to ask questions regarding legacy versions for those who can't go past 1Password 7. I didn't want to have to ask a 1Pwd 7 question in a 1Pwd 8 area; without a legacy area I'll be forced to do so.
