History of 1Password?

In the old community the was a list of the versions and the dates they were released by Agile Web Solutions. Is there something similar planned for this new area? I can't remember if I started with 1Password 1, 2, or 3 on my Macs 17+ years ago. With iOS it was in 2008 when Apple created the App Store.

Gotcha, that makes sense. The old forum did have version-based categories for legacy releases of 1Password, but we didn’t keep a dedicated historical timeline of releases.

While we don’t have anything like that planned for the new Community, if there’s a specific detail you’re trying to track down, let me know—I’d be happy to see what we can dig up. 🙂

Hey @romad! 👋

First off, sorry for the late reply. I really don’t remember us having a list of previous versions and their release dates in the old Community platform.

Is there something specific you were using that list for? If there’s something in particular you’re trying to track down, I’d love to help figure out what we can do to assist. Let me know!

IIRC, I believe it was more of a breakdown of the forum into the the various versions , like Windows, iOS, MacOS, subdivided into their version numbers. However, I've been told everything older than 3 years has been discarded so the info I was looking for no longer exists. Thus I recreated a question I asked years ago today in the general discussions area.
