1Password for Linux 8.12.32

These release notes are syndicated from releases.1password.com.You can now run a local MCP server from the Developer tab, allowing AI assistants to access 1Password Developer tools. We’ve improved localization for a number of our supported languages. If you’d like to suggest a localization improvement, contact 1Password Support. After you approve each request, 1Password fills your login or one-time code without sharing your credentials with Claude. You can now choose whether 1Password offers to save API credentials for shell plugins in Settings > Autofill & save. Saving shell plugin credentials now uses the same autosave notification as other logins. If you try to paste your Secret Key for your 1Password account into a website, 1Password now blocks the paste and opens the extension to help protect your account. Notifications that offer to save a login or passkey now use a question instead of a statement (for example, “Save login?”) so it’s clearer you can save or dismiss it. We’ve fixed an issue where suggested item titles could be shortened when the site name ended with text that looked like a domain extension, such as “Intercom” becoming “Inter”. We’ve fixed an issue where the browser extension could show a blank tab instead of an error page. We’ve fixed an issue where 1Password appeared to be offline when some changes hadn’t synced, instead of telling you those changes were still waiting to sync. We’ve fixed an issue where saved logins didn’t appear in the Autofill menu on login pages that say “Welcome” and ask for your username first. 1Password now correctly fills passwords on alahlynet.com.eg, sftp.savvymoney.com, and secureweb.aglc.ca. We’ve fixed an issue where 1Password could fill a one-time code into the GitLab two-factor grace-period field. We’ve fixed an issue where one-time codes on FortiGate admin login pages could trigger the password generator. 1Password now correctly offers to generate a password on the Rivian account creation page.
