1Password for Mac 8.12.38
These release notes are syndicated from releases.1password.com.You can now connect 1Password to supported AI agents so they can sign in to websites on your behalf. When an agent needs a login, 1Password asks you to approve the request and choose which logins from your Private vault it can use. If your organization sets a default sign-in address using an MDM solution, 1Password now uses it on the sign-in screen. The Developer Watchtower page now includes breadcrumb navigation. You can now use macOS Autofill in more places, including when connecting to a server in Finder. In these cases, 1Password asks you to confirm before filling your information. You can find instructions to turn off Autofill if you select Settings > Autofill > “Disable macOS Autofill”. Developer Environments now includes programmatic access options for the 1Password CLI and SDKs, along with an option to copy the environment ID. We’ve simplified the steps to add your account from 1Password.com or by scanning a QR code with 1Password on your mobile device. We’ve made visual improvements to the “Migrate data into 1Password” option on the New Item screen. It now appears as a compact button with an icon, making it clearer that it’s an action rather than an item type. We’ve made visual improvements to the single sign-on (SSO) migration prompt. It now has a simpler, more compact design. If an error occurs when you try to add an account from 1Password.com that signs in with SSO, you’ll now see a specific error message instead of a generic one. The default Quick Access keyboard shortcut on macOS 27 is now Option Command Backslash to avoid a conflict with Apple’s Visual Intelligence feature. We’ve fixed an issue where the sign-in screen wouldn’t automatically close if you added your account from 1Password.com. We’ve fixed a crash that could occur while Quick Access loaded Autofill suggestions. We’ve fixed an issue where other apps’ global keyboard shortcuts could stop working after you unlocked your Mac while 1Password was locked in the background. We’ve fixed an issue where searching for an item’s username or other subtitle text wouldn’t return the matching item when using Autofill. We’ve fixed issues where Open & Fill could open the wrong sign-in page for Capital One, Vanguard, Fidelity, and BMO.
