These release notes are syndicated from releases.1password.com.You can now connect 1Password to supported AI agents so they can sign in to websites on your behalf. When an agent needs a login, 1Password asks you to approve the request and choose which logins from your Private vault it can use. If your organization sets a default sign-in address using an MDM solution, 1Password now uses it on the sign-in screen. The Developer Watchtower page now includes breadcrumb navigation. Developer Environments now includes programmatic access options for the 1Password CLI and SDKs, along with an option to copy the environment ID. We’ve simplified the steps to add your account from 1Password.com or by scanning a QR code with 1Password on your mobile device. It now appears as a compact button with an icon, making it clearer that it’s an action rather than an item type. We’ve made visual improvements to the single sign-on (SSO) migration prompt. It now has a simpler, more compact design. If an error occurs when you try to add an account from 1Password.com that signs in with SSO, you’ll now see a specific error message instead of a generic one. When “Unlock using Windows Hello” is turned on, the Convenient and Balanced security presets now turn on Trusted Platform Module (TPM) support by default. We’ve fixed an issue where the sign-in screen wouldn’t automatically close if you added your account from 1Password.com. We’ve fixed an issue where emoji and other special characters could be typed incorrectly or text could be sent to the wrong window when using Auto-Type or “Type in window”. We’ve fixed issues where Open & Fill could open the wrong sign-in page for Capital One, Vanguard, Fidelity, and BMO. We’ve fixed an issue where unlocking with your device could show an unnecessary Windows Hello prompt.
