Step 6: Create a recovery plan
1Password is built with the highest level of security, which means that not even our team can access your account. Because of this, it’s critical to set up a recovery plan in case the unexpected happens. A solid plan should include:
- Adding at least one additional Owner to your account.
- Saving your Emergency Kit somewhere secure.
- Communicating to your team who they can reach out to if they ever lose access to their account.
